Phew! It’s been a busy season of ministry here.
We’re already finishing the seventh week of the semester at Moody Bible Institute. (How did that happen?) And on the weekends throughout September, I’ve had the joy of speaking at several women’s retreats—one on Mackinac Island (incredible!), another at Lake Ann Camp (also gorgeous!), and a third at Conference Point on the lovely Lake Geneva (a precious home-away-from-home for us). You can find a few pictures below. Peter and the kids got to join me on Mackinac, which made it extra fun.
All month I was so blessed to watch God work in the lives of many women as we opened His Word and worshiped together. There is truly no greater privilege, and I remain in awe that He would choose to use silly ol’ me to communicate His truth.
This week Peter and I are also excited that an interview we recorded with Family Life Today back in May is finally airing. You can hear our conversation with Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine at the following links.
We begin by talking about life and dating in our 20s:
In the second program, we discuss the subject of community, among other things:
Finally, in the third program, we talk about worldview and our adoption journey:
Give it a listen and let us know what you think!
